Drifters Saloon has been a Myrtle Beach staple since 1998, serving locals and visitors alike with great food, cold drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, we've always been known as the neighborhood bar where everyone feels like family.
In April 2025, Drifters entered an exciting new chapter. Under the ownership of Laci Peiffer and her father, Larry, the bar was transformed into a clean, non-smoking establishment with a renewed focus on serving high-quality, homemade food without losing the laid-back vibe that made Drifters a local favorite for decades.
Today, Drifters is the kind of place where strangers become friends, regulars become family, and everyone is welcomed like they've been coming for years. Whether you're stopping in for one of our famous Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, wings, late-night bites, or just an ice-cold drink while catching the game, you'll quickly see why so many people call Drifters 'the Cheers bar' of Myrtle Beach.
As a proud partner of Unity Community Myrtle Beach, Drifters also serves as a drop-off location for local donation drives. Come as you are, pull up a chair, and make yourself at home. At Drifters Saloon, you're not just a customer, you're family.

Drifters Saloon has the easygoing character of a local pool hall, with billiards adding another way to spend time between bites, drinks, and whatever is happening next. Burgers, wings, shrimp tacos, Philly cheesesteaks, and housemade sauces keep the menu varied, while cocktails, beer, and wine cover the drinks.
